Festival Verão Azul reaches its 11th edition more vigorously than ever in its purpose of promoting decentralization, promotion and creation in contemporary art, in its various possibilities and intersections.
From April 6th to 16th, Lagos and Loulé will host a challenging transdisciplinary programme designed by Ana Borralho & João Galante and co-curated by the performer, choreographer and visual artist Daniel Matos.
Concerts, performances, clubbing nights, movie sessions, exhibitions, dance, poetry slam, talks, and a publication’s launch compose a programme that seeks to inhabit the in-between, through which one continues to learn to be a minority in the best possible way.
Welcome to VA11, where we find “Sound as the basis of coexistence”.
