21 is how many performers stole books in the booth. 21 is how many performers will occupy the space as an open-door poetry session.
The audience is invited to enter this living exhibition, where they can observe the contrast between the reading moments and the online version of our bodies reading.
Bringing a smartphone is urgent and mandatory.

João de Brito was born in Faro but made the stage his home from an early age. A graduate of Theatre – Actor Training (ESTC) and a master’s in Cultural Practices for Municipalities (FCSH – UNL), he is currently doing a postgraduate in Artistic Practices and Social Inclusion (UCP).
He is co-founder and Artistic Director of LAMA Teatro, where he has created memorable shows such as Batalha, As Leis Fundamentais da Estupidez Humana and O Valor das Pequenas Coisas. Between drama and opera, he staged Migraaaantes (KCena – Teatro Viriato) and Bastien et Bastienne (Artis XXI), always exploring new ways of storytelling.
As an actor, João de Brito has worked in film and television with Carlos Avilez, João Brites and Jorge Silva Melo. In 2024, he was awarded the Gold Medal of Merit from the City of Faro.
