An armour? A weakness? The two at once? In Corpo-Espinho, the performer’s naked body receives a defensive layer as if responding to the attacks he has suffered for simply being who he is. He covers his skin with screws, creating a creature in a mix of magic and fear. This action is accompanied by an audio piece combining an ongoing beat with whistles and catcalls, calling out the ominous presence of the gaze of others.
