With a 15-year trajectory, MMMΔ (formerly Mohammad) has been shaping a distinctively monolithic and deep sound, exploring pure low frequencies and modified instruments. Moving between experimentation and pop music, the Greek collective has developed a unique aesthetic, characterized by slow rhythms, sparse percussion, and vocals that oscillate between earthy growls and ethereal harmonies.
Their latest releases are NOMENKLATURA , TAXONOMIA anthems for a quicksand dance-floor and Sidiroun Parapetasma from 2023, a powerful, majestic album of four tracks, a “clin d’oeil” at the bootlegging practices of copying music to analogue tape and discarded X-rays in the Soviet era.
They are currently working on a new delivery: ABSENS a compilation of sound poems around disappearance MMMΔ are a duo since 2015 (ILIOS & Nikos Veliotis).
