Cátia Pinheiro, an artist born and living in Oporto, goes to Loulé and Lagos for an adaptation residency of her project The Walk #2, a site-specific audio project that takes a city and its small fictions as a basis to try to conduct us into a unique and personal journey through the individual perspective of each spectator. This journey aims to explore the limits between interior and exterior, public and private, individual and collective, fiction and reality.
In order to adapt this project to the reality of each city, the artist and her team develop a research residency in each city to create a set of new dramaturgical materials, taking advantage of the thematic intersections each place provides, such as objects, stories, sounds, situations and fictions.
The goal is to find and to explore the named thematic intersections of the different urban spaces with these residencies.

After that period of residencies, two new texts will be created and recordings of new audio materials will be made, a work that will result in the editing of two unique audio walks, created for and from the places they are made from, and which will be presented in both cities during the festival in 2019.
At the end of each residency Cátia and her team will talk about the lived experience and how they will include the materials collected in their next performances.
