It is in the years in which the festival doesn’t occur that we encourage artistic creation by taking in artists and ongoing projects, which need time and these spaces to be able to arrive to a final artistic work form.
Much like previous years, we propose the artists in residency to connect with the local reality, whether by integrating the local community in their creative processes or by means of research on the territory, that will have a repercussion in their works.
These new creations, co-produced by Verão Azul, will be presented later in 2021, on the Festival’s 10th edition.
